Well... It is not possible to test a failed shaft. Since my shaft was not defective according to GM, my shaft should have the same properties as ones that will be tested. Am I wrong?

Which of the following is correct? (I made it an A/B question, again just trying to make this as simple as possible for you to understand):
A: The warranty is null and void if the vehicle has modifications.
B: Damages caused as the result of modifications to the vehicle are not covered under warranty.

Or is this simply a finding by the BBB in your favor and you can use it as leverage against GM?

Thanks! It was a hell of a hassle, but I think the right decision was made.

The trans has already been replaced at my expense by an independent shop.
At this point I have the option to either accept or reject the decision of the BBB.
Should I accept it, GM is obligated to reimburse me for the parts and labor (~$3500). By acceptance of the decision, I also waive my right to sue.
If I reject the decision, I have the right to sue GM for the parts and labor AND all other associated costs, e.g. punitive damages, cost of metallurgical testing, court and lawyer fees, etc... (~$ 25,000).
