2010 2ss/rs vs 2012 2lt/rs

(skip if not interested in the story )Hi guys, I have been looking to buy a camaro for a long time and have come very close a few times but unfortunately due to finical reasons and cost have not yet been able to get one but that is about to change

few weeks ago went to order 2012 2lt rs, sunroof, auto. employee pricing in Canada will be around $34,000 from msrp (around) $39,000 + whatever price increase for 2012 (have not ordered yet due to price not being known for 2012)

A dealership near by has 2010 2ss rs, gfx, manual, for around $37,000 from $48,000 msrp. employee pricing is $ 42,000 for same one in 2011

basically 2010 2ss vs 2012 2lt rs
any ideas

Everyone is going to say go SS.

If you want the extra power, can afford the extra cost (initial higher cost + insurance, gas or whatever) and don't care for the interior upgrades in the 2012, then go SS.

V6 is a fine car, and has a good amount of power to play with...I know I love mine, but if you feel you want the most power...go SS.

Really, nobody here should influence your decision though. Take a step back, and be honest with yourself on what you can afford and what other fun hobbies you don't want to put aside for this car. Then make your decision.

Good luck.

is the 2010 new?

if so, the choice is easy (for me at least) to go with the SS

SS baby...I see the new Camaros and yes they are sick...but I have a 2SS and I love it. Doesn't bother me that it's new. Somebody will always have the next year model. What are you gonna do when the 2013 comes out? Trade for a it because it's new. In the end...do whatever you want. Whatever it is...it's a Camaro...ENJOY!
