Hey guys... Well, I tried the fuse pull twice already with no success !! Both times I left the 5 & 20 fuses out over night, put them back in in the morning and no change at all! I am scheduled to take it back to the dealer Tuesday. They better fix it or they can keep the piece of shit !! Ill post back with what the outcome is. JCL-2SS, you said the 5 & 10 fuses... did you mean the 5 & 20 or am I doing it wrong ?!?

Mine wont 'light them up' either but its running just fine and I have tried the fuse pull. The fact is those tires are quite sticky and dont spin easily. If you dont have TC off they probably wont spin at all (or at least not noticably).

Also, if you are on the wrong kind of road surface spinning will not be easy.

Add to that it is hot outside right now and that will reduce the ability to spin as well.

We have the L99. Within a 1/4 mile from my house I have concrete and paved roads. I can light them up any time I want from a stand still. Heck even some of the city streets I will light them up in second gear when in manual mode.

I can turn my over even with all the nannies on and bark 2nd but I got a M6. Not sure why some of you can't do it in first gear no matter what tranny.

If dealer put 87 in it for checking it out they dropped you to low octane table.
You need to run at least a full tank of 91 or 93 thru her. Then if you have a garage pull fuse 5 and fuse 20 in the engine bay fuse box for at least three hours. I have a garage and did it for overnight.

Ask the modertors here I know how to get the L99 moving, I was the one with #230 who had GM engineers drive down to Alabama to figure why my car was slow. Turns out the computer cannot by itself go back to high octane levels.

Now you do have some things againts you right now, HEAT and LOW MILEAGE. The car does not really loosen up till about 10K miles.

Also the P-Zero's do not all ways squeal win spinning. After fuse pull go give it a try and then come back around and see if you can see where they left rubber.

My car is at 30500 and I am on my 3rd set of back tires and I do not break stand, I get from 0-speed limit as fast as I can. But until GM figured out the computer problem which lead to the fuse pull trick my car would get beat by a V-6 Camaro.

Hope this helped.
So wait. You'd get beat by a v6 camaro?! Then you did a fuse reset and you gained less than 20hp and now you spank v6's. Wow.

Btw, I'm just giving you a hard time! Lol

is this only for the v8's? i never tried power braking my car to spin tires, it's hella fast tho. other night turned onto a street rolled out at 20mph stabbed the throttle felt rear squat some and took off, had to let off before going through all the gears cause cops like to sit in the dark here lol.. i always run 92octane but other day i grabbed wrong handle it was the middle octane i think around 88? was to late to stop, and always chevron gas so gotta burn that fuel out and refill with good stuff, Anyways just wondering if only for v8 cars? Thanks

he said he put 89 in it and the dealer prob put 87 in it,

his car definately needs a fuse pull, and then you GOTTA RUN 93!!!

granted i have the manual, but i can light em up from a roll in second,

and it will squeal em grabbing third without even trying hard.

Well mine runs pretty strong. Vararam, tune and throttle body. If it's 95 degrees outside, it does not spin. If it's 85 degrees outside, it will spin. I guess the combination if the concrete and tires being so hot and the air thinner it loses some power but gains traction. If you didn't know, the pirelli has a 200 tread wear and a nitro drag radial has a 100 tread wear. So the pirelli's hook up pretty good for a stock tire. A normal passenger tire is usually rated around 400 plus tread wear, so i think you get the picture. Some roads hook better than others also.
