So you are saying you actually considered using a firearm because someone parked too close to you. I have news for you...if you really have a "federal license to carry" (I don't believe such a license exists as state law usually governs it's citizens and the right to carry in the state), you aren't going to have it for long with a temper like that.

As long as there was no damage, you did the right thing just backing out and leaving. People in larger cars and trucks with bench seats often don't think twice about leaving room for both sides of neighboring cars, as they can slide accross the bench and enter or exit from either side relatively easily.

mall are any other place

[QUOTE=Can't_C_Me;3420446]So today went to the Apple store in the Mall to get me a MacBook Pro went early to avoid idiots. This mall stays crazy full and I said I would go early and be in and out to avoid traffic and parking lot would be empty. Well Apple like to teach it's customers how to use they new toys so it wasn't a in and out thing like I want it to be. so by the time I come out the mall it's already people everywhere. I get to the parking lot and it was jammed packed in just a hour time. I find my car and almost had a OIF flash back. This damn person parked so close to me they had to have got out on the passenger side. Cause my to sons couldn't even fit in the car. I have a Fed. license to carry a fire arm and almost went in the glove box. I never thought it would happen to me lol, but I did want to punch the tires. BUT I didn't, I cooled down and just backed up and left cause of the kids. Here is a picture of what I saw:[/QUOTE

At least the guy apologized when I woke him up at 11:30 AM on Sunday. I needed to get my car out because I was taking it to work. Turns out he got pretty wasted (his words) and didn't realize he parked so close. Now he rarely ever parks in his spot, probably best thing for us both.

Yo can't C Me I think we can all agree that we hate when some other person parks to close to our cars whether it's on purpose or an accident the end result is still the same. That is the reason some of us have the "work" vehicles that we tactically employ instead of our Camaro or better yet just park out in the middle of nowhere and then you don't have this issue. As for the firearm comment it thought it was a fitting joke seeing how I just returned from OEF myself so I feel you bro!! If they thought you were serious they need a better grip on reality !!!

These Camaro doors are fairly long and require a good amount of space to get out. The truck probably needed a larger spot, but too lazy or just had an attitude to park like that. When I park my truck, I think about the others around me.

Yes... I would have parked on the top deck or 1/4 mile away and walked to the mall.... but that's just me.

Ummm..... As far as pulling the firearm... HE WAS JOKING! OP just returned from war. Do you really think a douchbag in a parking lot is going to set him off. I would bet he has a better grasp on heated situations than most of the rest of us. Also, be active duty... Yes he most likely CAN carry a weapon in all 50 states.

Just sayin!

I'd be willing to bet he does since he just got back home from the war literally less than two weeks ago.

Guys, CHILL.

Maybe he did park a little too far to the right, maybe the truck had a good reason to have to park close to him as he had to park to the right.

So many variables that really aren't answered/not seen from the picture.

Sometimes people just want to vent a little, and he was hoping he could come here to find some people that would understand.

No need to flame him so much.

As far as the gun thing....do you REALLY think he was being serious?

Absolutely not.

Thank you for your service man. Wish I could come to your party up at the Mt.

lol, yall all real funny! The firearm thing was a joke, And I have yet let anyone take me to the limit off actually pulling it! And for someone who asked yes I do have a Fed Gun Lic. and regular GA permit. I'm from NY originally and that's how you can carry there and anywhere with this Lic. I have had the training at the range, classroom, military, and war (like my Bro. & Sis in arms). Also if you wasn't there you really can't assume you know it all. I wrote what was needed to be said. The parking garage was empty when I got there because the Mall was still closed BUT the APPLE store was open early. So no one was out there. And since the mall was closed They were doing some touch up work around since they had just constructed new support beams they needed to redo the lines to adjust parking better! They did have the rectangular line before. But they were spraying off lines making it single lines. I was told to park at own risk since they were power spraying the lines and things may fly. So I parked on the second level middle of the lot. All you internet CSI agents/lawyers really need to go out and enjoy the day lol! Yall real funny, Can't believe someone actually examined the picture and changed the exposure and zoomed in lol! Yall funny! And this wasn't a major fail like many said, I wasn't trying to get any petty or nothing like that. Was just sharing my first experience with this type of stuff that I use to read back on the other side of the world. And how I felt and finally know how those OP's felt! Have a Happy 4th everyone!

I was going to drive my other car but I was already out when I went to the mall. Next time I'll think harder before hitting the mall lol! Yea the gun thing WAS a joke but some people are up tight around here seems like lol! Troops now have better self control compared to other wars. And I was venting like many other have since this was my first experience since owning the car. To tell the truth I was very calm when this happened since no damage was done!

Lazy people don't want to walk.....and all the *nice* cars park on the upper levels.

Please, don't take your weapon to the mall anymore.......it's not an Aston Martin you're driving. It's not that big a deal to even think about taking your weapon out of your glove compartment............can't believe that thought came across your mind even for a mil-second.

Over a car? Really? Don't give me any of that 'it's not just a car to me' BS either. You're an idiot.
