I have the ram twin disc. My car has about 650 rwhp. Zero problems or issues after many quarters and a out 2000 miles.

I am running the McLeod RXT clutch and put out well over 1000rwhp and it holds great is super quiet and better yet easier to drive than the stock clutch. I will never use anything else. Hands down best clutch I have ever used.

I'll throw out another option, Monster Level 5. It holds 825rwhp, yet won't leave you walking in circles. Feel free to give me a call with any questions you may have.

I'm going with RAM and want to make sure I understand the pros / cons of picking one clutch combinatino over another.

If I had a M6 car it would definitely have a RXT in it. We're pulling another ZR1 clutch out this week and going RXT in the car. Owner will probly let it go cheap.(out of a 09 Z06) Showed slight slip at 500/500 like most we've pulled. |

And this RXT will hold at the track right...? I'm ordering it Monday morning but still wanted some input.

Just kidding, believe me I know the answer. @dmax86; Are you seriously considering the RXT? The two I like the most are RAM RTrack 10.5, SPEC ST-Trim, also checked out the McLeod RXT which is quite interesting too but much more expensive and only holds 1000 hp. while RAM and SPEC are 1300+. RAM provides a lot of educational information on "clutches" in general which is a good baseline checklist to use when making an informed decision. I'm going to compare the 3 listed above and then I'll make my decision. Let me know how things go with the RXT.

The RXT can hold a lot of power. You can keep that on/off clutch engagement. I had a car like that and it totally sucked for street driving.

Regardless, would like to hear feedback. When do you think it will arrive and you'll have it installed? Quote:
I'm getting that now with the stock clutch as it is now, so kind of used to it. Regardless, I don't think that is simply due to the clutch alone (combination of clutch components play a role as well), and there are other factors too like idle rpm, cam, etc... However, everybody has different requirements so can't simply make a choice based on what others want. So, exchange of information is usefull in my mind. But, I agree the RXT is right up there with the other high end brands so I'm sure it's a good product (@ $1.8k wouldn't expect anything less than top notch). I'm willing to accept the trade off in driveability to get additional capacity / performance if necessary, besides, although I understand not for everyone, in my opinion the herky jerkies my old school Z28 had are kind of fun anyway.
