As for cost to go I'm guessing gas+food+extra is all you would have to look at.

As a rough estimate and from a V-8 stand point, i would figure 80-100 bucks for fuel, $100 for a hotel on saturday night (decent hotels I would feel comfotable parking my camaro at) , probably 50 to 75 bucks per person on food, depending on where you eat, (my idea was mostly cheaper places except possibly saturday night and depending on where the albuquerque group goes on sunday should keep it closer to the $50 mark). It's $20 to enter the car show for both days if interested, but of course we would miss sunday for the albuquerque get together, I think admission just to check it out is free, but don't quote me on that. Then of course any adult beverages you may want (those add up quick ). So total to be on the safe side not including shopping and drinks would be 230 to 300 for 1 person then an additional 50 to 75 bucks per person that rides up and stays the same room with you.

Wow I think I may have put too much thought into that one.

It might cost a lot more if we visit with Ivan for too long though.

I know he already has a check with his name on it for exaust if we make it up there.

But if anybody is interested of doing a cruize up to Albuquerque, going to the car show and meting up with the Albuquerque group post up so we can guage interest and possibly put something together. I will try and post the car show info in another post.
Interested... Also have to talk to the better half

If we get enough interest, I will start a list, then in the next couple of weeks we can determine if it is feasable. Oh yea and I think Vince is probably interested.

For me, the wife, and the kiddo to go down it usually costs us $300.. $100 for the government rate at the Marriot, around $75 for food (we only stay one night so that covers dinner when we get there, breakfast and lunch) and in all reality we fill up before we leave, fill/top up in abq for the return trip, and fill up/top up when we get back to Cruces so reasonably around $125...

Definitely why we stopped going on a monthly basis... On top of our contributions to Ivan (Although very well worth every cent for the deals that he is able to give!!!)

Just getting a cat-back for now, dont want to risk the warranty, that and I figure I will get wheels before the headers, then my warranty should be about up.

All that sounds rather reasonable. So it's the first weekend of August?? I think I will luck out with the Marriott rates as well because of where I work, or if my hubby goes we will get the military/govt rate. Since I have a V6 I should get better gas mileage, but having to keep up with you guys I might burn through it quicker. HA!! I wouldn't enter the show because I have still yet to do ANYTHING to my car!! One of these freakin' days I'll decide what I want to do!! I'll just browse with you all while I watch you guys detail your cars every 20 min. because of random people touching them.

A stock camaro is still beautiful, plus I had a black 1LT at one point so I might just Love the look

also if its the first week of August I don't know whether or not my parents will be taking me somewhere for my birthday or if my friends and I are doing anything. Possibly both, so its really undecided.

I would likely just browse also, I was just throwing the price out there in case any body was interested. Funny thing is after doing random car shows with various customized cars, the first time I ever won anything was at the second car show I went too with my new camaro and it was stock at the time. Guess I just don't have as good of a design team as GM.

Dang, this might throw a wrench in things, was anyone else thinking of going? Just wandering, I was thinking about it cuz I met some really fun Houstin guys at Camaro5 Fest, but I would rather start doing somethng in New Mexico kind of like we are thinking about and it sure is alot closer to Albuquerque and I think we have a lot better, more personal group.
