I've been reading all the info from his post about having it install n I'm sure his going to do a good job on your car. N thanks for the info.

That's what I've heard as well. Ofer (screen name: 2SSRS) is going to be doing my install. Hopefully it turns out great, as I'm sure it will. I'll post pictures ASAP.

No problem at all. If you ever want to see it in person let me know. You can order it tonight and probably get it within two days with 2 day air shipping. Just call Patrick of GMpartshous.com. Then, call or PM Ofer to see if he'll do it on the weekend while he's out here. It's cost me somewhere around the $550 range to get it with 2 day air shipping.

To be honest, he can probably do them relatively quick. He said somewhere around 2-3 hours if I remember quickly. He may be doing someone elses in Burbank before mine on thursday. You should PM him tonight and ask if he has the weekend available. He is coming to my house Thursday or Friday, and if he is still in town, it may be possible. Also, if you PM him tonight that will allow him time to create the harness needed to make everything work perfect. Let him know if you have a 1SS or 2SS as well as the year, and coordinate a plan to get the install done. Also, order the parts ASAP from GMpartshouse. Contact Patrick on this board from GMpartshouse and make sure you order the correct one and tell him to ship it pronto, but wait to see what Ofer says first. You'd be hard pressed to find ANYONe installing it for cheaper than him. I was quoted triple to quadruple what he asked.

Anytime! I hope it works out. I was willing to pay the extra money for fast shipping to ensure I got the HUD in time for him to install. Once Ofer repsonds, definitely get Patrick on the phone or PM and get it all set-up. It should turn out great. Once mine is done, you're welcome to look at it in person or test drive it.

I'm going to try, but if it doesn't work out this time yes if u don't mind I wanna take a look at it. I seen the ones with the hud from the factory but not one that it was install after so yeah if u don't mind let me take a look. Maybe at one of the meets I can take a look. Thanks

Absolutely. I've noticed the HUD picture isn't clear on the stock windshield that want made for the HUD regardless of the car being a 2010 or 2011. Their is a special windshield with a coating on it that comes with the camaros that have the factory HUD option. This is what provides a clear view. If the picture isnt good enough I'll just order a new $400 windshield that's made for the HUD. I'm sure I'll be able to live with it though.
