Ahh. I didn't have the Camaro until after my boy was over a year. So I never got the chance to try out the rear facing infant seats in it. I currently have a Britax in the back seat right now. Fits just fine! He has plenty of room. If your passenger has long legs pushing the front seat all the way back might be a problem. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=4032957

That the one I currently have back there.

we bought our camaro 2 months before my son was born and he's been riding in it since. He's 10 months old now. We have a peg perego primo viaggio car seat and stroller. The car seat fits fine just have to pull the passenger seat up a bit but my wife can still sit in the front comfortably. I fit 2 canopy chairs my car cleaning supplies and the stroller in the trunk during our trip to Cruisin the Coast. The peg perego is the rated the #1 safest car seat in both Europe and America.

I had a black and orange one to match my inferno orange interior that i bought from sam's club. i believe it was a Graco? I don't use it anymore because my daughter is in a booster seat now, but it fit great & was very lightweight.

I have three kids (all boys 9, 5 and 3 years old). When I first bought my Camaro (two years in July) I would have my oldest up front in a booster base seat, my middle son in a full booster seat (rear passenger side) and my youngest in a forward facing (Graco I think) behind me. Once his legs reached passed the seat and I had to move forward it kind of sucked. The forward facing was no issue (used the teathers). The thing to watch is the width of the booster seats. They are as wide as the distance between the seat belt and makes it difficult to click in and out.

I only have forward facing seats but, i have two of the largest seats on the market and there is plenty of room for my 7yr old twins in the back, my wife in passenger side and i'm pretty comfy. I'm 6ft tall and they work just fine. I would imagine rear facing would be alot tougher unless your wife is fairly small.

when its time for a booster, recaro makes a very nice one, narrow, good saftey rating and its bottom and back are smooth so it doesnt mess up leather

RECARO RECARO RECARO We only use recaros for our kids. Never tried rear facing in the back of the camaro, but we have two convertibles carseats that have fit, and the recaro booster also fits fine back there. I would say, get the convertible which is rear facing infant, and then turns around to be a regular carseat and then adjusts to being a booster seat. 3 seats in 1. check the safety reviews on recaro carseats. doesn't get much better...
