I should have all the tools you would need, minus maybe one of the fitting release tools, im not sure if GM is using those fittings on the Camaro or not, but I can look into it. I just don't have a good place to do it at. You would also need to make sure you have enough tranny fluid for a complete tranny fill, not just an oil change, usually about 3 to 5 quarts more. It should be able to be done in a day, but you want to make sure you have a full weekend just in case.

I would also probably start thinking about that first oil change, on new engines I like to change the oil arround 1000 to 1500 miles to get all of the metal shavings or particles out that may have come about from assembly or breaking the motor in.

Thanks for the info!! This is my first NEW car, and I didn't know that about the oil change. I will definitely be sure to do that when I hit around the 1000 mark. I'm ready for her to be broken in, but at the same time bummed cuz she isn't new anymore .

I'm looking forward to the up in power, right now she feels a little off when I really give her some gas.

did you get an auto? because I know the autos have a bit of lag

Yes, unfortunately I do. I know how to drive a stick, but get nervous in traffic for some unknown reason. It's just when I take off, after that I'm golden. I don't know why!
