Plz save your money and don't dyno your car with the VR alone with axleback exhaust in the summer. If other mods are added other than intake and exhaust go for it IMO! Test it on the track like VR has said from day one. And doesn't help that the shops dyno set up SUCKED ASS! It was a boiler room in there and the kicker is THEY HAD NO FANS. They finally brung one out that looked like a large snow blower for the 3rd pull SMH. Also I drove 75 miles before I hit the dyno so everything was heat soaked. I ran 246rwhp and 230rwtq, those look like stock numbers there SMH. The temp outside was 85* and humidity was 57%. I think a large fan would of did the trick alil. But when I hit the open road again after leaving car was a monster in the real world again. Ran strong and torquie like always. Here are some pictures and the video will come when I get home! But I'm hitting the track tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

But in those temps you might have been 230-235 stock with M6? Autos see 225-230 in the heat or "low" reading dyno.I dont think, IMO, with our usual dyno pulls we do that Vararam will do any netter then injen, 12-14 maybe and anothe 4 with a axelback?

Just my thoughts so far, I like it. Although I didn't see any difference between the Ingen with my dead stop 0-60 mph runs using a accelerometer, I believe there could be something here.

Dead stop 0-60 mph runs go by quick and you need to go another 2-3 seconds and 20 mph to get halfway thru a 1/4 mile run.

I like how my car jumps now when stomping the gas entering the freeway at say 30 mph.

Sound is a little different but in a good way, no more Injen whistle but my tame exhaust sounds a little lower in pitch.

I like being able to check and maintain the filter by just opening the hood, of course checking the Injen filter once, twice a year shouldn't be a concern. I'm just lazy.

Some may not like the look but I like how it's inline with the motor, looks cool to me.

The VR is a tight fit and I had to play a bit with the radiator position but the VR is sitting perfect now. At first I didn't use the brackets but found that a little shift in the rad backwards would raise the front of the intake up a bit.

I installed the modifed brackets and now it's all good.

Looking forward to getting back to the track.

Something must really not want me to have this vararam intake on my car

I went to go install the replacement bottom part that VR sent me after waiting over another week or so, than after finishing the install and when I tried to screw in the 2 thumb screw that hold the top piece in place.. the left side screw would only screw in about a 1/4 way and wont go any further. It look like the passenger side thread housing on the rear neck horn piece(the bottom piece) is somehow defected and is not threaded all the way to the end for the screw to go in all the way. So for now I had to getto rig and stack up about 4 1/4 inch rubber washer on the screw itself so it can make contact with the face and hold the left side down. Now the whole thing is just free spinning.

Then, there's the excessive glue issue inside the airway in the rear neck. Right before the square cutout for the MAF there's what look like sharp speed bump from the excessive black glue they used to put the parts together.
I am sure there suppose to be nothing in the way of the airflow except for the MAF meter. It look like the problem was too much glue.

This is not good.

I'll post pics tonight when I get home

Replacement is here-see some small differences- installing in a few hours Wish me luck. No real glue issue here....a little built up at plenum/horn bottom area. I dont think it will cause ANY probs. The glue is actually a little "ramp" going into the horn area -looks fine.Thankyou VR for the prompt attention I will post soon with results.

It's inside where two pieces of plastic bond together. I used the same dremel I used to modify the brackets with a different attachment to clean it up.

so if I see this with my intake, when I get it, should I also clean up the excess?

Inside the tube right before the square cutout for the MAF meter. Mine look a little too excessive. The intake that had the fitment issue was perfect and had no glue problem. I can probably use a dremel to sand it down but im not about to go out and purchase a dremel to do something that should of got taken care of in the first place, but regardless of that I cant screw the left side thumbscrew all the way down, thats a bigger problem.

Oh man! Really sorry for the troubles your having. Sure hope they take care of the problems.

im worried that if i get this intake shipped to me in Canada and I have a problem, shipping parts back and forth is going to be a pain in the ass and cost money
