I agree, I'll keep bugging them as well. I'd prefer a handheld tune so I can return to stock any time I need to. BUT Tampa what gains (dyno sheet) are you seeing with just a tune on the V6 Camaro?

the best thing to do is to go to hptuners forum and bug them out but just get ready to hear that its "low priority" everytime you ask them. Our camaro LLT V6 has been discussed there for over a year now and still its "low priority" to them.

They just dont want to work with bosch ecm just like the EFI live guys. Tuners hate bosch, and now 2012 camaros changing to delphi you can just say that our ecm tuning is probably done, dead, over. Just be happy that we at least have trifecta.

I'm not interested in a tune that I can not remove when needed. If Trifecta starts doing handheld or laptop tunes, then I'll jump all over it.

Trifecta does do that. I change tunes all the time with my laptop. I haven't tried the GT Tuner handheld they have, but I wouldn't see what that wouldn't work.

Really? I thought they only sent you the tune and the kit but then you had to send the kit back and it wouldn't save your stock tune so you were up a creek if you had to go back to stock for some reason. GT Tuner??? Geez, I guess I better go over their website a little more again. So what does laptop supported tune and the ability to take it back to stock cost from them?

The cable costs 200.00 I just saw a slightly used one go for 125.00 on here. Not sure what the tune costs direct. I put my local customers back to stock whenever they want to meet up and have never charged any of them for doing it and never had one buy a cable been doing the tunes for over two years.

Thanks Matt, I'll keep an eye on used cables but may just order the whole thing. I live in the sticks with no tuners anywhere close by so for me having someone like you put it back to stock when I need to just isn't an option. What does it take to become a dealer for them? Like I said, no one near here so maybe I could help those around here.

You can do the same exact thing that everyone does with SCT, diablo, hypertech, etc, except that you have to use a laptop or anything that run windows.

They also offer self tuning kit but you will have to pay a dealer cost of $2500

Thanks for all the input on Trifecta. I honestly did not realize how flexible their service was. I just heard that one could expect a 17 hp gain with just their tune.
