Did you disconnect the battery first?

MIKE

OK - After a twice-around-the-block butt dyno: throttle response definetly improved. Seems quicker but I haven't got to hammer it yet. Glad I did this and yes, the install was stoopid easy.

Thanks again Mike. Will send core back Tuesday (do I get an extra day grace period due to no UPS in the 4th )

Installed and core in the mail

Received new VMAX T Body yesterday. Installed this morning and core is in the mail. As others have stated, the install is about idiot proof. Took just a few minutes to remove engine cover, disconnect CAI, switch out T bodies and put things back together. A 10mm socket is all that is needed.

NOTE - The T body is not secured with a great deal of torq. Notice how easy the bolts pop loose. Don't over muscle it.

A few pictures are below. One is side by side and then close ups of stock and VMAX units.

I have one new TB that will be in my hands tomorrow, Friday July 15th.

I will also have 3 normal VMax TB's ready Friday. I am going to a 5th Gen Camaro show this weekend and taking whatever TB's I have in stock with me. They will most likely all sell during the show, but those that pay by Saturday the 16th by noon will have one set aside for them. This is assuming I do not sell them all before hand.

Thanks everyone.

Hey All,

As of August 6,2011, I have 3 standard used TB's ready to go and 1 NEW TB here in stock and ready to ship. What that means is that if you get in on these units there will be no waiting as they should ship within a day or so of ordering. First paid first served.

Thanks and have a great day
