what were your numbers, and remember dynos should be used for a tool. each dyno will show different numbers. with those mods you should be very close to 500 rwhp.

I was on a Dynojet as well, and I've also heard 500whp is very difficult to achieve without head work or more, but I'm still thinking there are some cars that can get there with most of the performing bolt ons with a very good tune. I'm gonna do a ported TB and maybe a ported intake later on to see how close I can get to it, but I'm good with what I have now.

I can tell you that my car bone stock put down some better numbers on the exact same dyno and same day as other 2010's there. As I recall there were a couple of people there with cold air kits that didn't put down the same numbers as mine. That being said maybe my car put down 480 where another car with the same setup would might put down ~ 470. There will always be some variances in any mass produced engine.

Next I think I will get Texas Speed to port my heads, add hollow stem valves and get my intake ported too. Maybe that will get me to the 500 mark.

Now I just need to learn to launch this beast and get some good 60' times.

Read what I said,I have Texas speed ported and milled.020 heads and have all the things you are talking about doing. Just saying you either have a happy dyno or I have a sad one. With all I have read and heard, I thought I wuld be right around the 480 /490 number but only saw 450 but car has great power.I guess I need to run on a dynojet just to satisfy my curiousity. Thanks all.

That's the advantage of developing cams on the engine dyno. They work exactly as advertised every time!

Got any video of it idling? I would like to hear what the lope sounds like.

When I eventually do a cam I want people to be able to know it's there but not at the sacrafice of surging at any speed. Sounds like this might be one of the cams to look at.

bump: Any videos of the TSP 229/236 idling? If so, what LSA.
What LSA can i get on this cam that makes a nice noticeable choppy idle without sacrificing streetability (bucking/surging)

I do have the new tsp headers that are delivered, will get them installed once I get back home. The next thing on my list is likely this 229/236 cam :-)
