Hennessey Packages

Does anyone have one of the Hennessey packages on their SS? I am trying to decide which package to go with. The 475 package is appealing(price) but the 550 package is getting 562hp to the rear. The price difference is about double though. Thoughts? Thx

The 475 is just basic bolt ons... exhaust and CAI. But the 550 includes a supercharger which is def the way to go if you can afford it. Where in TX are you located? We have a couple Hennessey cars in the Houston club...

mlee,

I live in the Ft Worth area. I know the supercharger is the way to go but 13 grand for this package is a hard sell to the wife. I have had C6 Vettes in the past and I am a little disappointed with the camaro's performance so far. I was not expecting vette type power but something close to it would have been nice. I appreciate the response.

You are paying for the "Limited Edition" and badging that comes with a Hennessey car....but it may help with the resale value compared to a car that was done at any old performance shop. The 550 package though really isn't anything more than a supercharger of choice bolted on with a tune. If my memory serves me right it does not include a CAI or headers+exhaust. I believe that is the 600 package....if I was going with a Hennessey package, the 600 would be the way to go...then get suspensions mods done locally afterwards.

You can take a look at our JRE 560 RWHP Street Brawler Package, solid performer and and a Real bargain.

Feel free to give me a call.

I'd spend my money at Lingenfelter's or with Ted Janetty. Honestly, you would probably get a better tune from Ted.

ADM is also right up the road from you in LewisVille... Top notch shop all the way...

LT headers are your best bet for immediate HP gains without breaking the bank. SC can always come later.

Yes, ADM would be a good choice since you live in TX. Andy is a GOD with LS engines.

Once you get started modding its never enough. Set goals but never limit them. I would go ADM for every reason: quality, price, local, attention to detail, over all experience....
From mild to wild ADM Performance!
I'm just another happy customer.

I see that you're in Texas you may want to check out Late Model Racecraft. They are just as good as HPE but at a fraction of the cost. And they specialize in LS motors. Steven will turn you're car into a beast

Just thought I would throw our name into the hat. We don't offer a set package as we approach each and every build to the customer's wants and needs. We are in Mckinney so not too far from you either.

If you'd like you can come by the shop anytime and I can give you a tour and show you some of the projects we typically work on as well.

One thing I can say, if you are looking to up the Camaro performance, a supercharger is definitely a good choice!
