Still the rest is a little hard to believe (not saying it couldn't be true, just hard to believe) considering the constraints on the V6 cars and no other dealer has come forward and told any kind of news close to that.

You don't have to care if they get one or not, and I don't care if you dealer gets one or not. The point is he is wrong about that info he gave you and probably about other info he has given you.....that's all. And the running joke way of doing it on here is with that "witty" comment "your dealer is an idiot". It wasn't just said to be rude, it was to inform you that you shouldn't take your dealers word for fact. I would have said it too, so I guess I'm a total jerk as well, sorry, it wasn't mean't to ruin the moment for you but you will be the one disappointed when you don't get your car as soon as your dealer is telling you.

That's the thing, you seem convinced that I won't. If he says they're getting two this month (one probably being the oh-so-important dealer car) and 5 next month, that's what he knows. He said he'll update me if anything changes. He's been awesome these past 6 months keeping me updated and says he calls GM "every day" to stay on top of things.

But hey, I'll go with you guys. He's an idiot and I won't be getting my car until Christmas.

My dealer said he is getting 2 v6 and 1 v8(mines the 1 v8) and there 1 showroom car. Strange 2 v6 ... And my dealer knows his stuff he's not too clueless in the camaro game
