Just a quick FYI... the Mackie truck pulled in about a minute after I got there...it was actually still moving when I took the shot. It proceeded to the back of the lot you see it in and backed up against a bay door. That was it. If there was a secret something in there, I had no way of seeing it...and GM was making sure I didn't.

from what zedder makes it sound like they probably already have painted one CGM...and we haven't seen one yet, so they must care

In that picture, notice the rim on the black camaro. Is that the RS package darker rim, or just bad lighting? The regular rim seems pretty bright in every picture I see, and that one just seems a little darker.

He's yanking your chain - not one car has come out of the paint shop in CGM. Scott always said that the paint launch wouldn't be all the colors immediately. He said white was definitely going to be last but he also said some would be introduced after the production date.

On the plus side, all we have to do is get Elvis to make weekly trips to the shipping yard and take a picture. When we see it change from the vibrant colors to the darker colors, this place will be rockin'.

Why would a Camaro only be able to be painted on the line in Oshawa? They had CGM to paint part of the Dale Jr. car and Daytona 500 car.

They have the CGM paint code.... they haven't finished painting the Impala's Tarnished Silver yet...

The Dale JR. car was hand sprayed... i'll bet anything on it.

Yup, Dale Jr. and Daytona pace car were both hand painted.

I just feel really bad for the people that ordered CGM and haven't been able to see it on the car yet. They've had the paint they've had the car...why not put the 2 together with a hand spray or whatever it takes. Maybe they just don't want people to see it til it's actually able to be ordered. It's funny that one of the first pics of a pre-pro was white and that's also the last color available, lol.
