New Alpine and Scosche Dash kits - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've been doing some reading on the threads about these 2 dash kits. The Scosche and the Alpine dash kits look almost exactly identical. Both look like they feature a touch screen for HVAC controls, (IMO looks 10 times better then the Metra kit). Does anyone know the similarities/differences? Or are we just going to have to wait till they are released? From what I've been reading they are still in R&D primarily because of HVAC control problems and aren't expecting to hear anything till late August or September.

ive been waiting until a really good deck comes out that is worth tearing up my deck.

From what I've read, the Scosche and Alpine dash kits are the same except for the shape of the plastic around the head unit. Alpine's is curved to match the contours of their head unit.

Otherwise, I think one is a re-brand of the other.
