Colgan mirror bras -- HORRIBLE

After waiting more than a month, yesterday I received my pair of black Colgan mirror bras, from autoanything.com. As I have mirro bras for other of my cars, I am intimately familiar with how to install them. These were horrible. The elastic band does not stay off the glass portion of the mirror, and the velcro strap barely reaches the other velcro portion of the bra. Also, the scrunchy part that goes around the perimeter of the mirror is all bunched up. Given the smooth lines and shape of the mirrors, I don't see how they can make a properly functioning mirror bra for the car. I had an unpleasant conversation with Auto Antything this morning, and am returning them. Anyone else have this problem in finding a mirror bra that works on these mirrors???

if its anything like the bra itself it needs to be heated up like lay it in the sun or a hair dryer to get it to stretch. ( leather is tight and fits like a glove )

these things are not for awsome looks they are for protection.

Here are pics. It is not that the bras are too tight, by any means. The elastic simply does not have a straight edge to bind itself to, so it slips around and onto the mirror. Here are some pics of the passenger side, as installed. Really pisses me off.

Looks like something I'd put over the head of a golf club instead.

Might as well, since it doesn't work on the car as it is supposed to.

Colgan used my car to create the front and mirror bras for the SS (non GFX).

The mirror bras fit fine on my car. Here are some pictures:

This is just nuts, go to a clear bra shop and get some applied to the mirrors, the leather has to be ugliest looking thing I have ever seen on a car.

Not a fan of the baggy look, but it does the job. Now please go clean off that mirror
