Purpose of the Smaller Under Drive Pulley??

basically in a nutshell what could I potentially gain from a cmaller under drive pulley?? would i need to change the belt to a smaller belt as well??

It slows down your accessories. Frees up horsepower. Yes you need a shorter belt.

appreciate the Input!!! was debating on it.. smaller drive = smaller belt i thought.. but didnt wanna guess haha

Having one installed on my Camaro today. ALong with long tubes, full exhaust and porting the throttle body. Every little bit helps.

yes as they said but becareful u have to install other small pully thats for electricity denamo (sorry i don't exactly what's called ) this one help u to not loose your battery because when i installed under drive pully in first time some one talled me that will loose my battery charge fastly because underdrive pully will take too much power frome battery but i didn't care and finally my battery dead and thanks god the deiler didn't know what's the main problem because if they knowed they'll cut my warranty , so u have to ask about it

Couple questions for when you get it back...
Did they bump your idle up? If so, how much?
Does it seem to charge less?
Is the steering harder at idle?
Does the coolant temp run higher?
And does the a/c still cool as well at idle. I realize it may take a few days to figure all this out, but this will help my decision.

I had one on my GTO. gain 11 hp 10 tq. Idle was higher due to my cam. I never had issues with accessories
