Andy and I are planning a trip which is a "mini-BBOMG" event for September 16th and September 17th to Mid-Ohio for a race to watch, eat, par-tay with Jeff Bucknam and his crew. Not sure if anyone is interested but here is what Jeff wrote:

It is something that we are planning on BBOMG facebook...but there are rooms available at the host hotel Holiday Inn Express. Kyle Winning is organizing from the Mid-Ohio Camaro Club:

I have a hotel picked out that is aprox 30 minutes from the track, speaking with the track and others this is the one they recommended to me. It is also the Hotel ESPN books when they televise the races. Right now we have 23 rooms reserved at $89.00 a night with 12.5% tax. The hotel looks brand new and the Manager has told me that parking lot parties are no problem and once he gets a number of cars he will actually block off a section of the lot for us. They said we will have dinning options with in walking distance.

The "Host" Hotel is the Holiday Inn Express in Marion Ohio, contact number is 1-740-389-4300. You MUST tell them you are with the Mid-Ohio Camaro Club. They are holding the rooms for us and with out telling them this they will say they are full. If there is a problem Bruce is the manager and Amanda knows what is going on as well. Once you book please let me know so I can keep track of who is going and how many cars we have.


We are hoping to round up some Upstate crew that would like to do a "mini- BBOMG" and par-tay with us. We are calling it mini-BBOMG because we will see many of the people there that we saw at BBOMG.

And I would like to expand on it and comment. Upstate C5 members that know me most likely are aware that I’m interested in the 427 Camaro motor conversions so I’ve been trying to pay attention to the mods Redline(In Schenectady/Rotterdam, NY) has been performing. Motor swaps are just one service they offer. I’ve seen quite a few mods they have made to the base LS3 that comes stock with the camaro, so I’m sure this would be a big topic of discussion that many Upstate C5 members would be interested in. Redline is doing this to promote their business, but there is no obligation to buy anything by attending this event, and it’s free. Regardless of what clubs you belong to or don’t belong to, this invite is open to everyone. The idea here is to get current & future camaro owners together so we can learn more about mods available for the cars. Even if you’re not considering any mods right now, you might be in the future so this could be time well spent. If this interests any Upstate C5 members, please post your thoughts so we can see what kind of interest there is in this.

yes they do! Continental shift is the term for the work schedule we are changing to. The plant will run 24/7 with 4 shifts working 12hrs. 2 days on then 2 days off, 3 days on then 2 days off, 2 days on then 3 days off, which completes a 2 week shift cycle, and the days you are off the other two shifts work. So Basically I have to work every other weekend BUT we dont have a 4th person yet to cover this schedule so the 3 of us Quality Techs have to work some weird shifts to cover until I get a person trained ( about a month).

We went 24/7 last year, I'm on Mon-Thurs 7am to 5pm 10 hour days, fri, sat, sun offLoving it!!! Congrats by the way

Thanks!! I wish we went to a Mon-Thurs and Fri-Sun like you guys. It was going to be that way but management said it would be unfair to the people working the weekend
