This is so great that you guys are able to do this. And the filled orders of members is really starting to pile up....Yes! What do you guys think about no IBM or ABM colors on any of the first 350 cars. Is it just a production thing where they only paint Black and Reds with the few yellows thrown in. Then later a big splurge of Blues will be produced. Kinda feel like a CGM but none of the simpathy since were not constrained. Anyway guys great job and congrats the the vin owners out there.

Sorry But I am a little confused I see alot of 1SS and 2ss orders I having a 2SS on order I am curious I thought the info was they are only building V6's first for dealers then special or pre orders. I understand about vin 1-10 for special situations (people) So whats the deal ? and if we or US pre ordered this car shouldn't we get the lower vin numbered cars such as 11- 14000. I understand the concept of the dealers getting cars in the show room and I am not complaining butI am curious which ones are being built? Thanks if you have reliable info

Yes- dealer can "see" the VIN once produced (generally day after production) in the same OrderWORKBENCH system your order was entered in.

As far as the lower VIN numbers, let's assume there are say 4,000 Chevy dealers in the US and each one gets a single car. Let's also assume that each of these cars has a VIN in the normal production sequence (1xxxxx). Then all of the people who pre-ordered SHOULD have a car with a VIN lower than 1018000). |

So the pages at http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com/ updated as expected this morning. And there's now 132 cars showing up! Now there's 2 1LT autos but that's all the v6s. I'm wondering if these are the one-per-dealer cars or if these are somehow preorders that slipped through the constraint?
