Hey all, brand new to the forums. Name's Josh, from Cape Cod, MA. I hope to be picking up a new Camaro SS within the next month or so. Any other Gearheads from MA out there? Look forward to being active on the forums, and hopefully get a club started up here.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm sure I will. I used to live in Boca, I'm up here in the Cape Cod area, but I am moving back in January, cannot take the cold weather anymore. Nice to see another Floridian.

Welcome to the site! Quick question, are you planning on ordering within a month or do plan on actually having one? I hope the 1st. If you ordered today, you are probably looking at fall before you would see it, maybe a little sooner, maybe! Anyways this site is the best information source for the Camaros and you are in the right place!

Boca, really? I graduated from Olympic Heights back in '01 and I went to PBCC there.

There's actually quite a few Floridians on the site.

Does anyone know of any good Cruise Nights in Eastern MA?

I'm in the Plymouth area in Cape Cod, near the bridge. I'm just in the middle of a few deals, trying to get cash in order and purchase the first black on black I can get my hands on. I sell cars for a living, so I am able to get cars before launch usually.

Don't know yet, maybe we can set up some of our own! I've lived in Boston the last 18 years, and I've been up and down route 3 + 6 back and forth from Dennis and Boston countless times...

I can't say much about going eastbound at night, but going west on 6 I think is the best bet for cruise nights.. mon-thurs.... both before the Sagamore (3-7 mile stretch) and after the Sagamore (exits 2-5/6) are generally good strips with low amount of trooper activity and relatively decent roads.

I hate route 6 with a passion, right between exit 4 and 5, the cops love to sit right on the rest area and just laser you. Route 3 is nice, from the bridge before exit 5, there are really no cops, after that, you'll see every cop till exit 8 in Kingston.

Ah, 4 and 5 is the rest area place. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, they hang out in the stop, a couple hundred feet after it, and even up on the left shoulder in their little hiding places sometimes. SDklnfsklnfsdkgbfg, so annoying.

I was racing down it, doing about 160 in my friend's 360, trying to get to Hyannis, didn't turn out so well... ended up getting a warning, I thanked god, and after that... never sped ever since.
