Nice work Ted, we did not do back to back testing on the car we finished last week, but I was not at all surprised with your results. The 4" tube is plenty enough to not cause a restriction at reasonable HP levels. (500-850rwhp) The MAF htz went from 6000 max to 10,000+ max at only 500rwhp.
Good luck with sales of the intake, we decided to just make that one, so in the rarity I need another one I'll give you a call.

btw, aluminum or steel?

Currently the proto is Aluminized Steel.

We are going to a larger heat exchanger but my experience tells me it may not help.

We will See.

Heat exchanger supplied with the KB kit is small compared to what the other kits provide. Ted will be running some tests with a custom ~4X larger capacity HE. We shall see...

Thank GOd I waited for the whipple, although I like the torque on the kb, but don't like the rear inlet design and high temps.

did a lot of reading...if you go thicker , less air will be able to travel thru core, so core cannot be cooled by air moving thru it..i considered doubling mine ..2 kb he...alrteady have on..add another..buit soon you will limit the air to radiator...also consider a electric fan..that also was an idea..

New HE will be longer & wider, not thicker... will be closer to length/width of radiator. We'll see how it works out.
