I raced back at Bristol in 2000, it was 4500 DA or something. I ran a 12.4@108. At my home track I ran 11.7@113.

Thanks Bro.

Since the logistics of this trip worked out pretty well (taking a full day and using my RV to tow and sleep with the puppies coming along), I'm going to look for tracks that are within 6-hours and just tour the Southeast. Some of the tracks have Weds. night street nights, so I'll just take an extended day off.

First up is perhaps Bowling Green with a trip to the Corvette Museum on the side.

So, anyone recommend good 1/4 mile tracks in the SE (that I haven't been to yet), that have street nights on Tues, Weds, or Thurs? Preferably a track that hooks well and doesn't kill times like Bristol.

I've got that 11-second slip waiting for me, I know it.

Now, though, I'm torn between going on to Phase II of the build, or waiting in the bolt-on class till October.

I'm in the same boat. I have the Texas Speed 231/236 cam and springs sitting on my shelf. I would love to have that cam rumble but I want to see what the car will do now that I have full suspension, drag radials, light wheels and just bolt ons in some good weather.

You should contact him, if you paid with Paypal you can file a dispute to get some of your money back. It looks like that plug is very close to the shoulder and that IS NOT safe.

What kind of wires did you put on? How much were they and where you get em from? If they are worth 1mph I'm game!

I'm still searching for that 11second slip as well man I'm stuck in the 12.0's I might go with the under drive pully just to see if it brings me over that .015. What havent you done for bolt on's cause that is impressive as just a bolt on car

I'm working on doing the same things to my car. Next on the list is hp tuners and a convertor. I want some lighter better sounder mufflers. Not really worried about the resonator.

They are Gr&nateli's. I'm happy, but I'm trying to get one wire not to burn on the shorties. The way my JBAs are, almost any wire burns near the boot on the driver's side rear cylinder.

What I haven't done yet is an Intake Manifold (I have a FAST 102) and a Throttle Body (I have a Nick Williams 102). I am waiting on these with the idea that they will only help with a bigger cam, but I may just go ahead and do it before the cam.

I also don't have an Electric Water Pump. Bbut that is entirely Meziere's fault for advertising that their new Camaro EWP for the LS3 fits the L99, when they never actually tested it on an L99. It absolutely does not fit.

When you go the cam route do you plan on changing to a longtube?

Only if the math shows 1&7/8ths will help me, which seems a possibility. But I may keep the setup I have. No need to spend another $1000 for just 10hp more.

I may go cam only so that I'll have a solid 11.5 second car by October and November (Valdosta and Darlington races).

Also, I'm pretty much decided that when I go into the motor, I'm going all out LS3 conversion. The only L99 part I'll keep are the lower compression pistons. And the automatic, of course.
