Well it comes down to you, if you want a stick do it. Why not go up to a lt? Make the dealer work for you, they want your business. I always go with you only live once so go for it.

You must have put a good chunk of coin on the first purchase.

Why are you having second thoughts?

I am having second thoughts because there will be a 3 grand difference in payoff amount, I mean I really want a stick and they have found me a LS CGM with what I want but they really do not seem to want to wiggle anymore than that. I really do not know what to do?????

I see a $6,100 to the positive. $18,400 - $12,300 = $6,100.

I mean the final Payoff amount for the 2010 would be 12,300 and the New one would $15,400, I mean three grand is not much but that would be money I would lose on the 2010....

I hear ya but that is part of the game when you trade up so quickly. Three grand over 7 years isn't that big of a deal.

I say if you really want it then go for it!

I've had 17 cars over the last 14 years. I was always getting bored of them quick. I've now found one that I like and will keep until my youngest son is old enough (3 more years). Then it's his.

Good luck!

If you can get that much for an LS, I would take it. You are getting a newer car and optioned just like you want. I might even go up to an LT with that kind of trade.

Tell them that you don't want to take a 3k bath and then wait for them to call you, and they will cuz they are making money on this deal. In the mean time find another dealer and tell them what this dealer offered and see if they can beat it and then use that for leverage even if the color isn't the same. If you do all this and they don't budge then you can do this deal but they almost always call if you walk away.

If you want it get it but, your not ONLY losing 3k like people are saying. Your losing somewhere around 12k.. After your trade you will be paying over 19k with interest/tax ect..over 72 months for the new car + all the cash you already spent on the 2010 and based on what you owe i'd say somewhere around 12k as stated.

In the end you will have paid roughly 30k to own an LS for roughly 7yrs total.
