lol Sorry I've been practicing for when I come back over there by watching swamp people.

I'm back from the install. It was a breeze.

Done in under 9 minutes!!!!!!! We used power tools but had the torque set low - really using hand tools is great and won't over torque!!!!

Ummmm... is it possible if we can get some datalogs or just some info on expected values for maf, fuel trim, afr, etc.. so we can double check and make some comparison just to be sure that we tuned the intake correctly to what you guys were shooting for?

I been requesting this for the last month and also been asking here but somehow it always get overlooked. Thank you.

you can email the info to cybergmonster@gmail.com

A picture is worth a thousand words a video is worth a million. Nice Job. One question though. At the very beginning when he removed the factory air box, what did he bolt back on the front stud under where the a/c box mounted to the strut towers? It was a silver box of some sort. THe camera was a little shaky and I have not pull the stock air box to see what would be under it.

I believe that was a control box for the green accessory lighting that Shuffler has on his (daughter's) car. It's certainly not a stock part.

It is a control box for the lighting.

It is not a stock item.

I had to drive to the other side of Houston so I put the 35 miles or so on the new setup pretty quick.

After a few WOT runs for short distances I'm real happy with the results. You can hear it pulling air now and it feels more responsive. The exhaust may be a little deeper in tone also. GRN ENV has American Thunder axle back.

When my Daughter gets her car back I'm sure she will love it. Of course I will be taking the long way home.

Install went well. No issues except I was missing the square foam pads. Made due with some wheather stripping

my question is, if the stock intake/exhaust system is so restrictive would I be hurting my self by getting the vararam and DT headers if the rest of the exhaust is stock? I mean I want the MRT V2.o but it will be later.

While the exhaust manifolds are restrictive, the stock exhaust back isn't. The stock mufflers are just big, heavy, and quiet. So the answer would be no, you aren't hurting yourself.
Mod away and enjoy yourself.
