Bezel mod help.
Can anyone help me with recommendations on paint to use to paint my rear bezels flat black? I know I need to sand em down and the primer them a couple times but what type of flat black paint do you guys recommend and do you use clear coat on them or just leave bare paint?

Can't recommend any brands, but if u clear the Matt paint, it won't be Matt anymore.
Matt clear does exist, I have a can of model paint that is matt clear, not sure if they make auto paint that's matt clear or not.

A good scuff , priming with duplicator self etch primer and there flat black or the brand sem there really good and I use there products alot in my shop. Ifmyounuse a matte clear you take the true effect od the matte finish away

Well I really don't wanna use any type of clear coat because I do want to keep the bezels at a flat look almost to the color on the rear diffusor plastic but I've heard people say that they use a clear coat for protection. So in essence I would like to know will I need a clear coat for any paint to protect from any type of weathering?

No sanding for me. I used an adhesive promoter and black paint. No clear either. Looks great and is holding up well.

I did this today. Used Plastidip. I shot 2 wet heavy coats with some dry time in between. The nice thing is I can peel the stuff away when I get sick of the black...
