OMG. I know mine should be right around the same time as one of the cars that was JUST posted on the list. I am waiting on a 2SS/RS going to maryland so its only a matter of time til I see it on the list. I'm the 1st at my dealer and hes one of the bigger dealers on the east cost, can't believe 3 others in my state before me :(.

I want my baby....

You're doing a fantastic job here --- but I missed seeing Where you get this data??? How is it that this build info is available outside of GM??

What to do?? i've done some searching on this magnificant site thanks to all of the help of you GREAT GUYS AND GIRLS out there who picked apart the vin#'s and how they play out.( it's all like chinese arithmatic to me!!) anyhow, i find out earlier today that my ss was built in the first 100 vehicle's, which i am completely STOKED!!!!, considering i did not expect my car until may or june. my dilemma is that my dealer is starting to now shy away from the g.ms. discount while i have contacted other local dealers who say they will absolutely honor it immediately!! Trust me i know what your thinking, "there just saying that" but i know them and firmly believe they'll honor it. i am being told the car was to be shipped today, assuming from the plant to the dealer. My question to some of you, fight for the discount? or suck it up and take the brand new -sweet car, or tell them i'll order another one from a dealer down the road and save about $3,000. ( oh by the way i think i sometimes see that this dealership is a sponser of some sorts to this great site of ours.

We know the format for the VINs. We know the code for each engine type and model. So basically we just plug each possible vin into http://www.chevrolet.com/ws/nvlWindowSticker.cv?VIN= and see if it works. I've got a program that automates and logs this. It runs each morning at 7am to update the files at http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com. heinzd01 has written a similar script but he has actually been maintaining a spreadsheet with all of the information by hand. So it's not really available per say outside of GM but through a "brute force" process we can figure them out ourselves.

I would I to see just one of those cars come to Mississippi, even if it's not mine. I am really starting to feel left out down here.

take the car! if its in the first 100 it might be worth something some day if it survives. plus you probabally wont get your car for 6 months if you switch dealers

Thanks for all your hard work. I find myself searching for my car twice a day. I ordered from City Chevy in Charlotte, NC on 15 OCT. I have not recieved my welcome kit yet. My dealer is not communicating with me at all. So my only hope is this web site. Thanks again.

As suspected, no new cars for today. The same will likely be true for tomorrow. Tuesday should have more though.
