You might look into a few of the other trannys Tremec offers, they might have something more suited to holding up to the torque you are putting out, not sure though, I know the output shafts were the weak links on these transmissions, they were even having problems on some stock cars with them.

If you are interested in getting rid of this one when you pull it out, let me know and maybe we can work out a deal if it is rebuildable, I have an LS7 waiting to go in one of my older camaros and have been debating on going manual or automatic.

So all I had to do was just remove the three little retainers so I could unclamp all of my bezels so I could paint them but nnnnnnnNNNOOOOOOO! Three of those retainers decide to f'n slip though the back of the tail lamps and my screw driver so now I have to remove the whole gal Damn bumper to get to retrieve them in the freckin summer night heat in the garage eating my warm Jello cup!!! ...sigh...yeah Seely, I'm in. ...sigh...

Oh hardy-harr-harr!!! Ha!

I was trying to remove my tail lamp bezels and paint them a flat black with Plasti-dip but when I finally figured out how to remove the three little clamps they fell through the cracks of the rear as well as my little screw driver and the never made it through the bottom. so now I have random parts and tools that are just gonna be rolling around in the back unless I take those SOBs out, but I have to remove the whole damn rear panel and I was planning on getting my bezels painted before the car gathering tomorrow. I've found a DIY on taking the panels off but the part where you have to pop off the panels from the bumper scares me. The last thing I want to do is ripped it off and end having to freaking purchase a new one. I havnt been able to find any videos out there on how to remove it, all that I have found hats been very useful until the final step (6A and 6B) some scans from the shop manua

Where does everyone live that are planning on going to the gathering, from what I've heard is that it doesn't start until like 8-9pm so depending on where we can all centralize we can grab dinner and then roll out. I work at Fort Bliss and live out into the Cruces area so I'm stuck in EP till then.
