I would get the V6 (like i am) and then save up for either the next gen V8 or a special mid life update V8 that way you enjoy the greatness of the camaro while still anticipating the v8 just a bit farther down the road

Get the car you want now. Do not wait, but if you must have a V6 now, get it and drive 'er for a few years, then trade for an SS with a V8 later on. I going to wait a few years to get one and exactly what I want an SS with a V8!

Remember the V6 Camaro at Indy Bash that had a 'surprise' under the hood??? Or the Vegas cars? C'mon guys!
