Also was wondering if anyone knows how these exhausts hold up in the salt that is put on the road when it snows? I live in Illinois, so we don't have a ton of snow, but we do get snow and the roads are salted. Obviously a stainless steel exhaust is going to hold up better, but will there be problems down the road due to the salt? I don't want to put this on and then have it rust away in a few years.
I would not get it then with salt in the area, not sure if the same concept is like near a beach, or you can always wash it after each drive . And i got it from cherrybomb.com for 399$ maybe they did go up since last i purchased. Guess i was lucky.

Do you know what material it is made from? Aluminized steel or something like that, correct?

I couldn't find anything about their warranty on the exhaust or if it would rust. But at $400 instead of $1200+, I could buy the Cherry Bomb 3 times if it did rust out for the same price as something that's stainless steel.

I live in Houston Area in Texas, The place is built on a spawn and i drive down to galveston beach every now and then, its a very salty enviroment, i wash my car every weekend because i like it shiny , and i have taken off the exhaust too fix a couple sqeeks i think i tightened the bolts too tight or something, but i do not have any rust spots yet or notice anything even trying too rust, i dont even have any mud particles on my tubes , and if you are worried about rust i would just order the kit, the mufflers come painted black already, you can go and buy anti rust paint like rust oleum and spray a few coats on the outside of the pipe, and when you think its good put it on! and let it roar

Did anyone notice the price of these went up. I was planning on buying, but I looked today and the piece was higher.

They did go up... 518 dollars is the new price... I am very happy I got them before the price increase. Good luck with your purchases I am sure you can find something to replace it

Thanks, does anyone know if it would be alot cheaper just to buy the Extreme Mufflers by themselves and have a shop install them.

So I ordered just the mufflers and I had them installed. It's alot louder than I was expecting, I get alot of bewildered looks when I drive down the road.
