Why are some people (seller) just plain stupid. I see this time and time again where sellers are trying to rip buyers off by listing a vehicle at a very low price hoping that the buyer will send them a deposit or even all the money. 99.5% of the people like ourselves realize right away that its a joke. Now if they were to have listed it at around $23k-24k, we might have thought "sounds like a pretty good deal, seller must be going through hard times right now, or a divorce". Another thing that I look for is a phone number, this seller doesn't list one. Look at all the other Camaro's listed on Cars.com selling by individuals and they all list their #'s.

Yea that reminds me... Guy I knows wife (fiancé at the time) lost a few grand on a craigslist scam when trying to buy a car. She explained it to me tho, clearly had scam written all over it.

Also, the seller's location is McKinney TX. In the description it states "THE VEHICLE IS STORED IN THE WINTER MONTHS, AND ONLY DRIVEN IN GOOD WEATHER". Why would it be garaged when McKinney didn't get a drop of snow last year????

Beware, it has scam written all over it.

Most of the time on these, you can google their ad and find the real ad someone else posted on ebay, craigslist, etc. The old adage "too good to be true"

Well, I'm in Dallas, we had a nice ice storm, I'm pretty sure McKinney got it too. Only a couple days worth though. LOL I see what you mean though, winter weather doesn't last very long here. I don't understand how people fall for these scams when they are so obvious.
