That would be a decent location. Unfortunately a lot of the area looks like the pic below. If they could support C5Fest it would be a good way to stimulate the local economy.

wow.. what sucks is all the money you spent over the years on insurance probably gone out the drain because they probably went backrupt after that and couldnt pay everyone..

Would help the local economy though if enough businesses are standing..

I haven't been to a C5F before, but somewhere midwest would be cool (mostly 'cause its close to me ). Somewhere is Colorado would be fun, or maybe in SLC, UT. Miller motorsports park is awesome, I did a couple track days there with my brother in his M3 and it was a blast. Plus their track is amazing.

Highly unlikely this one event would bankrupt an insurance company, we spread risk through layers of re-insurance.

C5F III will most likely be Northeast.

Vendors should be integrated into the guest parking. Make the vendor part of the social event a opposed to isolated on vendors row.

We need to make watching the autocross easier. We need tents and chairs in safe places around the course. We need a drivers rest area under a canopy. Pedders will work closely with the C5 Staff to provide an excellent autocross course, with canopies and seats to encourage spectators and camaraderie.

Camaro5FEST is a social weekend with cars. That makes it very different from most car weekend where the cars are the stars. C5FEST makes the owners the stars. The best parts of the last fest were hanging out at the host hotel. Because of the locations of events, displays and parking we lost a great deal of that during the day. My goal for C5FEST III is to help create the host hotel atmosphere all day long at event central.

That may mean less time to do certain things. Maybe there is only a half day track session. Maybe the strip runs different hours in the afternoon and evening. Maybe we do a track side BBQ one night. I hope you see where I am suggesting we go. We organise the events around the people and fit in the necessary car stuff.

Any suggestions you have that would enhance the social aspects of C5FEST III are worth talking about.

Great ideas. And setting up some kind of a specific meal event at the track would be really great.

Should be. Moving it around allows most people to go.. I can't drive far so close to home better

I really don't think I can make the next fest anyway... wife graduates from school, Kids starting school, Moving in to a new house. Anniversary, birthdays...

I'd rather put it off another year till I can make it.
