I agree I am the same way, I keep hoping mine pops up. Starting to get nervous since they are not making to many IOM's

is someone got infos about canadians cars ,mine is a 1ss ls3 iom order in nov 08 at montreal, i am #1 of 14 from a big dealer,last call from my dealer is ;i am at 3000 and expect to be built april 13

is some guys from ontario have news from theres own orders

I also ordered IOM 2SS manual w/RS and sunroof and Black Rally Stripes. I don't see too many of these being made. Only 1 going to Ma and not to my dealer. Can anyone check if any IOM going to Brockton ma. I only have an order number and no vin, how do you know if you are a 1000,2000 or even 3000? Contacted the dealer and they don't have any info as of yet. I ordered in October 20,2008. I was under the impression that the earlier you ordered the earlier you would get the car. I see people just placed their orders with 2 Months and there cars were already built. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There's LOTS of threads on this. Order date only matters where you are at your dealer. Your dealer can tell you what your order status is. I'm guessing "don't have any info" means you're at 1100. Please do some searching and reading. Particularly

. We cannot provide you with any more information that is already in the spreadsheet or the window sticker pages.

I apologize if this was answered already, but I have a question about the cars produced, so far.

I thought 150 were made on the first day alone, yet I only see 180+ VINs assigned (from this thread). Were the #s from the first day just way off?

I would have assumed that we'd see 700 or so VINs by now, assuming the first day totals were accurate.

What am I missing?

I don't remember where I explained it (maybe in another thread) so I'll explain it again.

We've got 179 cars that we've found. Almost all of these are US customer sold V8s. There has been a constraint on LS/LTs so dealers could not push those through but somehow a few have made it through (only 3). The highest VIN number is 683 so we can assume that there's been at least 683 cars built. In addition to those US customer v8s the plant has also been building cars for Canada and the one-per-dealer US v6s; the latter of which makes up about 50% of production alone. Once the one-per-dealer cars are assigned, I expect a massive jump in the numbers that we're seeing, filling in much of the gaps. We cannot find Canadian cars as their site has higher requirements than the US site (the correct dealer code for the car in question). The GM system seems to update nightly sometime between 1 and 5 am EDT so our data is at least a day behind actual production. I also suspect that once cars go to the 6000 level (delivered to customer) they'll disappear from the site.

He's got a 1 in 5 chance of being right

. The dealers are given a target production week and don't know what day of that week the car will be built.
