Two Vandalized Camaros
Hello Camaro5 family.....
I have some sad news. On Friday morning SteveRS and I woke up to our Camaro being vandalized over night.  Steve's car was keyed on the trunk and side. A brick was thrown at the windshield of my car and the driver side mirror was knocked off. 5 Chevrolet vehicles, a Cavalier, TrailBlazer, and a Truck (not sure what model it was) were damaged that night, so we were not targeted at Camaro owners. I need a new windshield and the price they quoted me at was $875. I go on Monday to see how much it is going to be for the side mirror. I am just grateful that my Cavalier was parked at work and not at my apartment. I would have had two damaged cars. Steve's car is currently in government storage, because he will be stationed in Korea for the next year. We don't know how bad his damage is yet. The key marks are very deep. I relocated my car to my work until I can find a new place to live. Don't worry my office has cameras and someone is there 24 hours a day.

As far as the windshield, I'm not sure about where you live at, but I believe that the windshield replacement should be free, because the cracked windshield is a safety hazard, try calling your insurance agent and seeing with them, because there shouldn't be a reason for you pay almost 900$ for a windshield that wasn't even your fault.

That's horrible. My mirror was vandalized too and it was a little over $300 for a new one. My insurance covers vandalism so I just paid the $100 deductible.

Man these threads make me feel so awful for you guys, and make me 10x more paranoid. Why vandalize a Car, its so ignorant and wrong
