Just washed the SS....with some awesome help of course!

My driveway is facing the southwest and directly in the sun from 9 am to 7 pm. I typically have a small window where it is not sunny or dark which is ideal for washing the car. It was almost 8pm when I decided it should get the treatment so that I can enjoy it on Sunday morning I couldn't have done it in time before nightfall without my wife's help. She is so detail oriented and does a great job

I thought he said something about wishing she had been in a bikini in this pic, but I don't speak Spanish.

Nice! my wife helps me too. Its nice to have some help and that must be the woman's job... the wheels. They have a knack for making them gleam! My wife is usually on wheel duty and they are always perfect... just like her!

I am with you on the sun... my driveway is in constant sunlight. Usually I just suck it up and use about billion gallons of water to keep it cool and from drying.

And totally radomness... I see you have a Civic hybrid... what kind of mileage does it get? We just got a 2012 EX (non-hybrid) and are getting consistantly 36mpg as we drive 75% highway and about 160 miles per day... Its a great little car.

I hear you, especially when washing in the sun, you need someone to constantly keep rinsing and keep the car wet until you are done and ready to dry it with a towel.

On the random question, I am getting 42mpg in the city consistently, usually in lots of traffic. On the highway I get 46mpg as long as I don't drive it faster than 60mph, any faster than that and it is similar to city. I got a hybrid just to have something different and because I got a good deal on it when gas was $2 a gallon for a short period of time. Paid $19K for it and seems to be valued about the same right now which surprised the hell out of me.
