Hydrodipped? Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see what you do. My son and I are going to try and put my splitter on this weekend.

Yeah, the carbon look in white should look pretty spectacular in the sun. It will be subtle yet unique. I haven't seen a camaro yet with a hydro carbon heritage grill in white yet. There may be one out there though.

That sounds incredible about your splitter. Congrats! That should look amazing. What splitter did you decide to go with? I would love to see a picture of it when you are done.

I have another question for you guys.

When I get the turbo installed, I was thinking of just chopping the flomaster mufflers off and running the pipes with the tips. Supposedly, the turbo mufflers sound really well, so the car won't be that loud. I was just going to do this in hope of gaining a lot of power. However, from what i've seen, the mufflers really aren't what's restrictive in the exhaust anyway, it's the crazy cats we have. I don't even know if it would be worth it to cut off the mufflers, especially if the power gains aren't noticeable in a boosted application. Any thoughts here?

You won't see any gains by taking off the mufflers, the only thing i would recommend would be to take off the stock cats. Gonna go back to mike soon to remove mine.

That's what I figured. The cats are killing the power. Turbonetics even did some power testing without the cats and they gained 110hp from what I remember, but with an additional 1.4psi of boost.

Haha, me too! Remember though, that's with an additional 1.4psi of boost. I wonder what it would be with the exact same boost.

Lol, thanks. Yeah, I'll be broke and in debt when it's all said and done. I wish I didn't have to repaint the front and rear bumpers, mirrors, and door handles. However, there was NO way I'd install a body kit on the thing with a bunch of crap orange peel all over this car. It needs to be show car pristine. Some day, I'd like to take it to shows with hopes of it winning a category some day.
