The hardest thing in the world to choose from.....

Flowmaster American Thunder or Solo Mach X catback systems

Talk to Solo Today via email..nice, fast response on email traffic..and they honor military dscounts. Not Sure if FM vendors do..I like both, heard both on the sound clips provided but i still cant decide. agggggghhhhh this is the hardest thing since grade school long divison. Guys help! Car Is a LS3

Is this the same thing woman go thru when they buy shoes to match that dress they took hours to buy shopping store from store, to end up with the dress they seen at another outlet lol! In my 10 L99 i had SLP LMIIs..which were fine but leaving me wanting a more deeper tone.

I am ABSOLUTELY feeling your pain. I've been back and forth between SOLO Convertible Catback to a Borla S type over to a SOLO Axle back...etc. Struggling..think I'm narrowing in on a Borla "S" type with some SOLO J pipes welded on to minimize drone. But..heck..after listening to 300 more videos tonight..I could change by tomorrow..!!

I have solo from headers back. Regardless of what exhaust you go with the biggest improvement is going to get the high flow cats and then get what ever exhaust you want. I love the way my car sounds with the high flow cats and Mach X exhaust. You wont be dissapointed if you go that route i promise you. Also as far as the high flows go...they are on here for sale all the time from people wanting to switch to long tube headers. The cats and exhaust have not required me to get a tune just a FYI. Good luck with your decision I hope this helps

You can't go wrong with either system. If you do any highway driving I would lean torwards Solo being drone free.

SOLO goes out of their way to tune the sound to be free of highway drone. After I installed mine, I took it out for a spin and couldn't get over how it actually had less drone than the stock exhaust. At least according to my ears.

Ok from, the clips it seems like FM has the more agressive deeper tone, Whereas Solos are lessened with No drone. Thats my jist of these two the LS3 will be a DD, but I had a Monte SS when I totoled My CGM SS for a temp car until i got back from deployment. The monte was a 06 SS Laser blue with a resy delete and FM 44s install. My wife said it sounded better than my LM2s on my Camaro..LOL funny I agreed. It was deep i was strong and I liked it. and after saying all of this, deeboe is still not decided.. agh!

G0 SOLO. My solo axle backs have a very deep aggressive sound and most important they are DRONE FREE even on my L99 SS.
No other choice in my opinion.

I've got the Solo Mach-X connected to my Kooks LT's + hfc's, and it is an awesome sound. The audio clips on their website don't do them justice. And they come at a super price as well
