Which happens in a blink of an eye in a 500whp Mustang.
and isnt a problem when your making 553 whp 603 wtq at 9psi or 653 whp 730 wtq at 15psi on a stock 5.0L if you look at their FI dyno sheets, or 422wtq at 4,200rpm on that 507whp NA 5.0L Last edited by BigDan; 08-12-2011 at 06:31 PM. |

We are talking about 500 rwhp all motor. It does not have the torque of FI.

That NA 507whp 5.0L was putting down 422wtq at 4,200rpm which is below what people are launching these mustangs at and plenty of low end torque to lift the front end. Heck I think there are a few stock powered 5.0's out there putting air under the front tires. |

no i t traps 3-4 mph faster in the first 1/4. triple that in a mile. i think you are thinking the SS has an aero advantage. look the the continental series where the SS aero is killing it. im done here....reason is not your friend. patting each other on the back and recounting events that never happened reminds me of another forum. come on man. performance: 1. Boss Laguna Seca 2. GT500 3. Boss302 4. Challenger 392 5. 5.0 GT 6. SS looks: 1. challenger 392 2. SS 3. laguna seca 4. the rest. ride/comfort 1. challenger 392 2. the rest.

It said all motor in the youtube description and comments but that doesn't discredit their ability to lift the front end with stock power and make 507/422 NA and out 60 foots the SS all day long with less torque.

LOL. Put a boss and an ls3 camaro at the same track on the same day and run the standing mile, the boss will WHOOP on the ls3 in the standing mile, period. It's simple math. More power, less weight. Horsepower is a function of torque over time. I would expect anyone making an argument such as yours to know this. Keep in mind, I have no bias in this scenario. My personal car makes 75awtq more than awhp and I get whomped by evos with 40 more whp and way less torque.

That is not an LS3, it's an L99 Auto. A bone stock LS3 Camaro M6 traps 150-155mph in the mile. |

I think the LS3 would have been even or by a hair in the standing mile. |
