Yesterday I was informed that my order was picked up by GM, and then rejected for the Hurst STS. The STS was then removed. Would anyone know how long before GM tries to pick up my order again? Does it get accepted right away since it was already picked up? Or do I wait another couple weeks until they swing my way again?

If your dealership would have been doing thier job, they would have let you know before Tues, that your order had been picked up and that the Hurst shifter would cause a problem. Then you could have removed it and you would be on your way to getting your order built. Now you will have to wait until the next round.

The sales manager said that he checked monday night before going home, and my event code was still at 1100. Tuesday morning when he checked, it had already been picked up and dropped. So he never had a chance to correct the problem.

The shifter needed to be removed or the order was sure to fail. It doesn't matter who removes it but it has to come off before they will build it. Another order was possibly picked up in your place. Try again next week.

Be sure to check the order right now before it gets another shot at being picked up. I dropped the shifter off my own order a while back and the polished wheels option was somehow removed at the same time. You have to personaly make sure the order is right or you could get an unpleasant surprise at delivery.

Ya, your dealer messed up. Should have been removed weeks ago. I hope you get back in line soon. Good luck. and double check your order again. Just in case.

it can be as quick as a week, till they get another car(s). or it could be a few weeks. in either case it wont be long, but yes your dealer should have removed it either weeks ago or told you it would make your order get bounced back by gm.
