Hello,
I plan to be in Newport News 8/18 to 8/23. Any cruise-ins or shows around that weekend? Like to meet some of my Camaro5 tidewater brethen while in town.

No car shows on any of the three sources I have for that weekend. However, there is a gathering of all makes of cars at a Hardees in Newport News on Saturday nights and a group in Gloucester on Friday nights.

Let me know before you arrive in town and I may be able to tag along with you or just how to get to them if I can't go..

I know of the Hardee's. It's down the street from my in-laws where I'll be staying. Is there also something at Quaker Steak in Denbigh? I'll keep checking and PM you when it gets closer.

I think every Sunday Quaker Steak does a cruise in.
As for Hardee's tonight... I think people will stay indoors with all this heat .
To bad your not going to be here next week , that's our muscle car hang out weekend for all local cat clubs !

I plan to be at Hardee's on Jefferson in Newport News around 5:00 next Saturday, the 20th. Hope to see some of my camaro5 bros there.

Thanks buelldude, would definitely like to meet up with you guys. My sister-in-law is also coming with her '63 Galaxie 500 w/406 tri-power but I can ditch her to park with you guys
