Finally taking my Camaro back to my home land. Haven't been home to Kansas in about 1.5 years but going back next weekend for my local car show. Only one other 5th gen in the town and it's completely stock so I'm excited to show her off.

Not looking forward to the 12 hour drive though.:(

One last thing!!

If anyone sees an old beat up white Chrysler van license plate 082 ALT.... WATCH OUT!!! They hit me in a parking lot, (completely the their fault and avoidable if the driver had even looked at what they were doing) are uninsured, and won't repay me for the damages. They told me they wanted to settle it "civilly" but I didn't believe them and still called the police. Went ahead and got an estimate / fix like they asked and now they won't return my calls or messages. The total damage is under my $1000 deductible so my insurance is no help, even though I am fully covered for 20 years.

I call them a few times a day just to see if they'll pick up. Yesterday they called me back by accident and asked who this was, and we had a conversation in which they informed me "we don't have anything to say to you. you're shit out of luck we're not giving you a dime." so I told them I hope you have something better than that to say in court, and they hung up on me.

Lucky for me I do have the police report and insurance claim and will see them in court shortly to recoup my money.

I'm in the Overland Park/Olathe (was hit at the best buy on 119th/strange line)area, but they live all the way down in Osawatomie. So just a heads up to watch for these careless people with no respect for other's.

Anyways if you see these guys feel free to nag them about the money they owe me.

Just so that everyone is still up to speed, we plan to go to Tulsa on Saturday August 20th. It looks to be a lovely 100+ degrees and clear day in Tulsa for Saturday.

Final Destination:
Los Cabos Mexican Grill
151 E BASS PRO DR
Broken Arrow, OK

For those of you that wish to meet / greet and start out together we are Meeting @ Old Chicago East [7700 E Kellogg Dr, Wichita] at 9:15am. I would like to be rolling out of the parking lot and headed to the toll road just at or before 9:30am.

The West side people will be waiting for those of us departing from Old Chicago on the toll road @ the Belle Plain rest stop. If anyone wishes to do that Please be there @ 9:30am - 9:45am just to be safe!!

Don't forget to bring cameras and $$ for toll fees and Gas (for those of us with V8's)

Two-Way Radios I do believe will be provided for the trip. If you have any feel free to bring them

Hope we all have a fun and safe trip, Can't wait!
