I have been reading this site for quite some time now. And I am waiting to see what dealers do on my area when the ZL1 is finally released. The dealers in STL were adding 10-20k on top of sticker price when the GT500 came out, and now you don't pay sticker price for them. So I will wait with anticipation and see what is actually released.

It's "Supersonic Blue" -- Carlisle Blue was much lighter. I did see one of those on the lot as well. Beautiful car but a bit too light for my tastes.

Thanks and thanks to everyone else for the congrats =] The more I drive her, the more I'm convinced I made the right decision. Talk about love at first sight but I still have a soft spot in my heart for my SS lol. Maybe if I ever get rich I can own a ZR1 and keep a ZL1 for a daily driver =]

@radz28, I used USAA's car buying service as I'm a member. Needless to say, the dealer that fed me the 500 ZL1 line was *not* a certified dealer. In a strange twist of fate, I met the USAA engineers at a conference on Tuesday who coded the integrations for the car buying service and USAA's CTO. Of course, they wanted to see her; the experience was a bit surreal.

I also set a new personal record for quickest time to get pulled over after buying a new car. Drove off the lot at 5pm, was on the side of the freeway at 8pm.

That looks like Supersonic Blue, which I thought wasn't available on 2012 Corvettes. Carlisle blue is a very light, powder blue.

Absolutely beautiful! Love the color, and I am also contemplating a GS or the Zl1. Just don't know which to buy.

I have a friend that bought 3 Gen 5 Camaros so far and one of them is a 2011 Pace Car. He is a kind of priviledge customer with GM. He just placed his order for the ZL1 without knoing the price...

His dealer sais that there will be only 500 produced and only 3 delivered in the province of Quebec. This guy managed to get the 1st Pace Car in Quebec and only 5 are delivered in this Province. His dealer is a Major Camaro reseller and I thrust that they say right.

IMO Shame if it's a limited edition....
