Maybe the corvette guys are hating because their engine is in our camaro? lol. Either way I love both the corvette and the camaro. The ZR1 is a beast.

I find it that most everywhere you go most people who own a performance car says crap about 5th gens. Its just its the newest design and everyone wants to hate on it. Thank god it takes heat off us 4th gen guys tho. We were the hated ones until you guys showed up

I think the corvette has kind of been the top dog for a long time but now it's not so much anymore. Our SSs have the same engine as their base models. With a few simple mods our cars can beat out many of the vettes on the road but they paid way more for theirs. Also, In my opinion, the new camaros draw more attention than the Corvettes simply because they are newer and people aren't used to seeing them everywhere...yet... Many of the girls I have talked to think that the Corvettes are for older guys probably just because young guys usually can't afford them and don't drive them. I would probably be pretty mad if I was in their shoes, too. I don't think I would hate on the Camaros, though. Thats just ignorant. It all comes down to this: They are hating because we are stealing their thunder like crazy.

I don't think they paid way more for it. I have a buddy that picked up a 2011 base as it can get corvette for 45,XXX out the door. And there are top model camaros that go for around that right?

I love Muscle cars period!! New, old, Chevy,Pontiac,Cadillac, Ford,Olds, Buick, Dodge, Plymouth whatever. Of course I have my favorites like anyone else. But,they all have something cool about them.

Corvettes are awesome. It's the majority of their owners that have a chip on their shoulders. That's one of the reasons I got away from Corvettes. If you want to see snobville just to the Corvettes at Carlisle in two weeks.

Jealousy is purdddddy powerful. Too many people trying to win the pissing contest of the internet, it seems, on some forums. Not TOO much here. Like it was mentioned, alot of ribbing... some people just get so easily irritated. /shrug

from what I noticed, the more you feel the need to prove that your xyz is superior, the more you are afraid that your xyz is not superior for whatever reason. That goes for brains, cars, girlfiends, bank accounts, etc....
