Roots supercharger and meth??

So I have a maggy 2300 and was looking into meth injection... However I heard it deteriorates the roots blowers screws. Any thoughts on how long it would last or if it's worth it. Have any of you done this?

You could go post blower.

I have a maggie and getting a meth/water injection system installed. I'm running smaller pulleys on my maggie, so the warrenty is voided anyways.

These are two completely different styles of blower. Magnuson said on here somewhere that it will eat the coating off the inside of the casing and the blades. If memory serves me right, it can also lead to pitting.

I'd PM Jessika and ask her.

I have seen Maggie and Whipple blown cars with OVER 730 rwhp on pump gas built and tuned by ADM Perf. He NEVER has used nor will NEVER use Meth. Many other tuners agree with this philosophy. Why add a band aid to something that does not need it even if it does not damage the impellers. Just unnecessary IMHO.

I running a maggie with meth; but its at the start of my cold air intake tube; before the MAF.

This is from another thread: if you put it right at the throttle body entrance, it doesnt give the meth enough time to atomize, which could lead to eating away at the coating on the rotors. The father you can put it away from the blower, the better because it gives it more time to atomize.

Thats because if the pump on the meth stops working or anything happends to the meth system.... Boom... pop..pop..pop..

I think meth can be used safely but i would never tune my car to depend on meth.

Grand National Owners swear by Meth, same with GTP owners, Cobalt SS owners, Evo owners, Diesel owners and on and on. You want to spray it post maf for sure and supercharged cars respond best spraying it most blower but sometimes that is not always an option. Pre maggie will work fine for most people.

I swear by it on a turbo car injected a few inches before the throttle body. I just don't know about through a blower however. No experience there.
