If your mirrors are set correctly, there IS no blind spot. My Civic has huge C-pillars and a high trunk. I do all lane changes and backing up with my mirrors. The problem with trusting mirrors isn't the mirrors...it's the trust.

It kills me to hear about the chop top camaro in other articles about visibility. What do you expect??? Its got a chopped top, duh??? If you want visibility, go buy a minivan or something, the camaro is not for you. I want the camaro for the way it is.... I like it

I haven't sat in one of these yet. Having said that, of the reviews I've read, part of the visibility concerns seem to come from the driver's view of the road. In fact, watching the videos of these Camaros weaving through the cones, it's obvious the driver is having a little difficulty seeing and judging 'em properly. I feel that's why the times aren't as good as they could and should be with this vehicle. This is one thing that does concern me. Hopefully, I'll be able to get used to it, (and quickly) because I really like knowing EXACTLY what my position is at all times. I love riding on the edge, but I've got to be able to see it to KNOW where the edge is, and not just THINK I know!

I guess it just depends on what your used to driving.....
I was driving a Z3 for awhile and when I first started I hated the lack of view with the top up. But after a few times driving it I got complety used to it. I imagine the CAMARO is going to be the same way. |

At least GM didn't make the car 5 feet tall like a lot of cars are nowadays. I'd rather have slight visibility issues than a car that makes me feel like a midget when I stand near it. LOL.
