Aggrevating, to say the least, isn't it? Grrrr! I waited from 6/21 to 7/27 before starting to show progress; then got my TPW of 8/15 on 7/29; then went to 3400 on 8/13 and I thought I was finally on the right path and I'd get built this week. NOT!!!!!!! Regressed to 3100 on 8/15!!! WTH??? I'm now a status 3300, on the last day of my TPW. Not lookin' real good I'll even get built this week.

I know we're all in the same boat...every one of us wants our cars with in the time frame that we were told. And, I know I'm not alone when I say, I'm really kinda aggrevated, mad, pi$$ed off and DISAPPOINTED BIG TIME!!! But....I'll keep waiting...with more steam coming outta my ears each day, most likely, but waiting none the less.

Let's just keep in touch in here for moral support if nothing else!

Sounds good. Glad I am not alone. My status changes were the same as yours. I talked to my dealer yesterday and she said that the week is not over and they work on Saturday and Sunday, so hopefully by Monday, we will be in good shape. I am not that optimistic at this point though. Anything special about your config? Mine has a spare tire, a cargo net, and a front license plate bracket. (2LT RS Convertible Rally Yellow).

Yes, I also ordered the compact spare wheel/tire;[also a 2LT/RS, but not a vert.]

If Becky is right, and I'm sure she is, because she definitely has *game*
the constraints should not have affected us if we were > status 2000 on 8/4/11.
compact spare wheel/tire on the week of 8/4
gray leather int[for me] on the week of 8/11
and ditto gray leather for the week of 8/18.
Even though I would've hit constraints on all 3 of these weeks, I was a status 3100 on 8/4/11.
It's a bit daunting trying to keep up with all steps of this car building jazz, IMO!
"Back in the day" when my Dad would order new model year vehicles at the dealership, you mailed in the order forms...as in snail mail!!!...and then you just waited! No idea as to when your shipment of cars would arrive. You just prayed you had shiney new chevys on the showroom floor on "show day"...which by the way, was a BFD!!
Invitations were sent out to all customers of the dealership, an open house with full court press...refreshments, coffee, punch, cookies, flowers, etc. I know this because my mom usually had to get all of the above ready, and then we would be the hostesses at the new model year open house on show day. Ahhh....the good ole days!
Sorry for dronning on and on. They just don't do things like they used to...could be a good thing, or not so much, I guess.

Anyhoo, thanks for the info about building through the weekend; I didn't really ever think about that. Sooooo.........maybe there's hope that we'll get VIN by Monday!

I've been 3400 since 8/17/11, so I don't think we should hold our breath on gettin' built this week. sigh.

I suspect there are just way more cars than there are railcars and trucks.... and things are percolating through. My guess this is pretty normal, and within the lead time we all new about. It's just a little frustrating to know that it's build and ready for someone to get behind the wheel vs sitting in a parking lot waiting in line... Oh well. I am getting my garage ready, getting some accessories ordered, doing some research, occupying my time. It'll come....
