Difference between ADM and Apex

I had a Vararam but wasn't happy with the quality so now I'm looking into the CAI Inc and have heard people recommend the optional scoop. Is there a difference between the one from ADM and the one offered by Apex. Pictures on ADM's sight isn't very good and the one on Apex sight only shows the part with or without the washer tank. TIA.

Nope. They are the exact same thing. What Apex sells is the ADM scoop.

We pre-drill them to work with our washer bottle. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.

ADM Performance Scoop:

Apex Scoop:

ADM Performance Scoop w/ Roto-Fab Reservoir:

Apex Scoop w/ Reservoir:

We prefer the Roto-Fab Reservoir Relocation kit as it holds nearly 4 times as much, and have the molded OEM look. Both good options, and enhance any intake's performance which has an open bottom.

The Apex Washer Replacement Kit features a half gallon reservoir. If you have a need for 2 gallons of washer fluid it is not the kit for you, but for those occasions we do have the Roto-Fab unit available as well. Our customers prefer the Apex solution because it contributes to a clean and cluster free engine compartment and does not interfere with the installation of other aftermarket parts.

Here are a couple of examples:

Roto-Fab offers a cleaner OEM look with no interference of other components. Half gallon may sound like a lot, but that may only clean your windshield 3 times. Roto-Fab offers a solution much closer to the stock Windshield Wiper Reservoir in terms of volume, fit and finish.

Also unaware of any long-term tests done on APEX's kit of having the heavy windshield wiper reservoir bolted to the side of the ADM Scoop or if the couple feet of plastic tubing they provide will become brittle overtime.

Half a gallon only lasts you 3 cleans? Wow, you much lay into that button to clean your windshield. I for one like the smaller Apex bottle. More weight off the front of the car . I bet a half gallon fill will last me all year. It's also almost half the price of the Roto fab one.

BTW half a gallon of washer fluid is about 4.15 lbs, two gallons is about 16.6 lbs. So that's about a 12.5 lb difference in capacity and add another .5 lbs for the larger bottle to make it an even 13 lbs. Hell, I'm contemplating spending almost $1,400 to remove 20 lbs off the front of my car.

I much prefer the Apex bottle over the Roto-fab bottle. The mounting options and price was the biggest considerations for me. The Roto-fab bottle clutters up the engine bay and personally I like a nice, clean, and organized engine bay which is what the Apex bottle offers.

Also Auto Agenda, know the products you sell. The Roto-fab bottle only offers an extra 1 quart of washer fluid over the Apex bottle, not the "3 times" you claim (Roto-fab has a 3 quart capacity over Apex's 2 quarts). And since you "claim" that the Apex bottle will only clean your windshield 3 times, this means the Roto-fab bottle will only clean your windshield 4 times (technically it's 4.5 times but I prefer a dirty windshield over a half cleaned smeared windshield).

So before you start bashing someone's product and praising another, know both of them. You should at least have knowledge of the products you sell but apparently you don't even have this.
