The truth about comet Elenin (from Nasa)
Everything is Fine. Nasa explained we have nothing to worry about from outer space. Whew. I feel better.

think we're safe? Now global warming is gonna cause the aliens to "eat or enslave us"
hahahahahahahaha, quick everybody, go buy a prius! http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/2014...al-warming.htm but seriously, they think global warming would tip off the aliens? Whatever happened to the theory that they'd hear all our radio transmissions? I mean lets be honest, I think that is far more likely than an alien going "oh look, I found this planet, according to our calculations a planet of this size, distance from their star etc should have an average temperature-related radiation of X, but it's really X+1. We must destroy whatever is causing this planet to be so warm!!!!"

Temps were greater during the medieval warming period than they are now, which was was before the industrial revolution and all the carbon emissions. You should check that out as well as the 1315-1317 European famine which resulted from global temperature drops which followed by the "Little Ice Age". We have not yet reached the highs from the 13th century. Wonder why the global warming "scientists" fail to mention that? Maybe it has something to due with supporting a political agenda instead of actual science. |

You know I thought I was going nuts here as I always thought they had called the Apollo-Soyuz mission that took place in 1975 and followed the Apollo 17 mission Apollo 18 but I couldn't find it. Although some at the time did refer to it as Apollo 18. Before you get too excited they only used the last upper stage of the Saturn rocket since they weren't going all the way to the moon, just enough to get into earth orbit. Also the compartment that would have carried the Lunar Excursion Module was used to carry the docking adaptor/air-lock necessary to dock with the Russian Soyuz spacecraft. So it would have been entirely impossible for them to get to the moon. It was the begining of the thaw of the cold war. So for you that weren't around or don't remember there was a mission after Apollo 17.

BTW, I do have a little experience with comets. Here is a picture I took of Hale Bopp in April of 1997:
![]() If you look closely enough, you'll see the alien spaceship in its tail, on its way to pick up the Heaven's Gate people. ![]() (And if you read the history of Hale Bopp, they were saying the EXACT same things about aliens and Planet X and NASA coverups as they are about Elenin now.) Padre |

Ooh, ain't those the "Thralls" of the moon "Triskalion" who fight endless gladitorial contests for mega-brains that lurk below the surface and wager "Quatloos" on these cruel contests until Capt. Kirk sets them free of their evil ways, at which point they commit a form of suicide, if I remembers correctly...

Haven't seen it, but it looks like it's getting mostly bad reviews. Too bad, it looked promising.
Maybe The Thing prequel will be better. |

If anybody is wondering how Apollo 18 was, in my opinion, it was HORRIBLE!. I was extremely disappointed!.

So lets just say, in theory, if there were any celestial bodies heading toward Earth on a collision course, do you guys think that NASA would make sure the people will know? and risk wide spread panic?, mass religious suicides?, and mass hysteria?. No!, I don't think so!. If something like this were to happen, somebody will definitely make sure it stays quite for these reasons!. Just saying!. So, with that said, I don't think anything will happen, but I know for a fact that no matter how many scientists there are, somebody will definitely make sure it will stay quite!. lol
