Hmm I have read many posts in this thread that never mention about bumblebee being a VWbug. And the subject of this thread is about the 2012 transformer edition Camaro not what bumblebee used to be.

Maybe you should read the very first post, I think you will see that you are incorrect about the topic of the thread.

I just reread every post and only one person mentioned it before you started this history lesson, and that person was not me, even though you quoted me during your first lesson, I tried nicely to tell you you quoted the wrong person. Yet you continued to quote me with more stuff I did not ask about.

Now back on topic..

I think the reason there seems to be less interest in this edition is twofold.
First many think the cost is too high compared to the first transformers edition.
Secondly many found out with the first edition that they could create their own version of bumblebee that was much closer to the movie car themselves. Then after the second movie when there was no TF2 edition they could make their own. So, now people will probably be doing that with the TF3 Transformers edition.

I'd rather have the '12 TF edition vice the other previous years. Just looks better overall. I believe racing stripes are simliar to that of the TF3 Movie Camaro, but obviously not the same, but similiar.

This thread kinda bums me out, but not enough to change my mind. Everyone is a critic, but I'm with the camp that knows it's my car and my opinion that matters most. What other people think is none of my business and I couldn't care less. I like the Transformers, I like Bumble Bee, I like the Camaro, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new special edition. So I'm gonna be happy no matter what.

The new edition is definitely bad ass, way cooler than the 2010 but both are nice in my opinion.

No matter what people say, it's still a Camaro and tons of fun whether it's yellow, convertible, or supercharged.

Look, I answered the OP question. Plain and simple. I think yellow is ugly (on all cars). If it really offends you that much write it in your journal.
